Work Hours: 08.30 - 17.30. One hour for lunch.

Full time, 4 weeks holiday a year. Competitive salary offered, BBS offer above industry average salary packages for the right person.

Duties:
BBS is a new Company and all our staff are flexible and helpful to each other, we all pull together to get the job done. Your duties may involve anything from putting up the odd shelf to doing a delivery in the small truck or dropping off accessories to a building site. The bulk of the work however will be warehouse based and mainly spent preparing materials and then cutting them according to the sizes provided. There will also be drilling and rebating required on occasion.

The building industry is fast moving and new products and challenges come about all the time. You’ll need to be flexible and open to learning new cutting techniques, using different blades and getting the most out of your computerised beam saw. The saw will be your partner in producing the best cutting edge possible, and getting the urgent orders done on time. As your training progresses and you gain experience, you will also carry out minor servicing to the saw and liaise with the servicing company and the blade manufacturer. You’ll be in charge of the stock of cladding boards and accessories in the warehouse and as you gain product knowledge you will be required to carry out stock checks and inform the office staff when running low on certain items.

The role will grow into warehouse manager as you gain experience and take on more warehouse staff.

Required:
Qualifications: Able, fit, energetic individual – willing to learn on the job, warehouse experience desirable, experience of any form of cutting preferable, although full training will be provided. Forklift license essential. 7.5t License advantageous or a standard driving license obtained pre 1991. Working knowledge of the construction industry an advantage . Ability to communicate confidently with office staff and good timekeeping essential.
