Crown Dritherm®
A lightweight, semi-rigid or rigid batt of shot free, non-combustible glass mineral wool having a water-repellent additive.

Specifically designed for both full and partial fill applications. It is built into the cavity as construction proceeds and dimensioned to fit between wall-ties at standard spacings.

Formally guaranteed for 50 years to resist the transmission of liquid water from the outer masonry leaf to the inner masonry leaf in new external cavity walls and to have a thermal conductivity of 0.035 to 0.037W/mK at normal building temperatures. Masonry includes bricks, blocks and dressed reconstituted stone. The guarantee is available by application from Knauf Insulation.

Kingspan Thermawall TW50 zero ODP
Kingspan Thermawall TW50 zero ODP is high performance rigid urethane insulation, with a thermal conductivity 0.022–0.023 W/m.K

Faced on both sides with a low emissivity composite foil, it is highly resistant to the transmission of water vapour.

This reflective, low emissivity surface
effectively doubles the thermal resistance of the
residual cavity airspace in which the board is placed.

Kingspan Thermawall TW50 zero ODP is available in the following standard sizes and
thicknesses:

Length (m):
Width (m):
Thickness (mm):

1.2
0.45 (0.6)
17, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65

Isowool Cavity - Full Fill
Fully filling a cavity is the most economical method of insulating masonry cavity walls available to builders.

Isowool glass wool insulation naturally expands to fill any air spaces, with the edges of adjacent slabs knitting together to leave no air gaps. This ensures that thermal performance is maintained throughout the life of the building.

Isowool CWS batts have been used sucessfully for over 25 years, without a single recorded product failure.

Isowool Cavity - Partial Fill
Isowool Hi-Therm is a high performance thermal insulating mineral wool which satisfies the Building Regulations with a product that is BBA approved and that has a Euroclass A1 fire rating.

As with the Isowool Full Fill batts, the characteristics of Hi-Therm means that the edges of adjacent slabs will knit together leaving no penetrating air gaps.

Because mineral wool is also a high performance acoustic insulator, flanking noise transmission down the wall cavities is also reduced.

Polyfoam Cavityboard
Polyfoam Cavityboard is a high performance, 100% ozone friendly, extruded polystyrene, rigid board insulation. It is lightweight, yet has excellent rigidity and long term effectiveness, even when exposed to moisture.

Polyfoam Cavityboard is supplied with interlocking rebated edges that help to create a complete insulated envelope with fewer gaps and also help to restrict moisture ingress across the finished construction.

Polyfoam Cavityboard has a thermal conductivity of 0.029 W/mK, has minimal water absorption and is unaffected by standing in ground water. It can be used in foundation walls below DPC level.

Rockwool Cavity
Rockwool insulation for full cavity fill

Rockwool Cavity provides a completely reliable and cost effective method of insulating new masonry cavity walls.

The lightweight insulation batts considerably reduce heat loss without permitting water
transmission from the outer to the inner leaf.

The risk of condensation is also reduced and intermittent heating systems will be more effective.

Advantages
Agrément certified for all exposure zones
Act as a cavity barrier
Water repellent
Excellent thermal and fire insulation
Superior fit against blockwork
